Part of the NECLTA’s mission is to support Chinese language teachers through opportunities for professional development and for exchanging experiences and points of view. As part of its effort to fulfill that mission, the Association organizes several workshops each year on various topics related to Chinese language teaching and Chinese culture education for Chinese teachers and related professionals at all educational levels. These workshops, which are typically held on Saturdays from 1:00-5:00 pm, provide professional development points to those who need them for their recertification in Massachusetts.
